The History Channel's show "Death Masks" asked Dundee University's Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification to create this 3D digital image of what they believe William Shakespeare to have looked like at the time of his death. The original death mask in which the image was based on was found in Darmstadt, Germany in the 1840's and has been linked to Shakespeare by German scientists.
