Nate Salsbury (1846 - 1902) 
 In 1875 he organized the musical comedy troupe, Salsbury's Troubadours.
 In 1884, he became co-owner of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
 In 1895 he established "Black America," an acting, singing, and tumbling extravaganza with a cast of 600 blacks.
